Jo Nam-jidae, the dynamic duo of Jo Se-ho and Nam Chang-hee, is back. After three years, they release ‘It’s Not Heard Yet’ on March 15. Their new song shares a heartfelt story of an unprepared farewell, wrapped in a poignant medium-tempo ballad.
Nam Chang-hee leads with his vocal prowess, while Jo Se-ho enhances the melody with his soulful harmony. This song marks a more refined and serious musical approach, moving away from their comedic persona.
Interestingly, Jo Se-ho contributed to the songwriting. He brought his musical ideas to his trusted producer Ahn Young-min. Together, they crafted a sound that represents Jo Nam-jidae’s signature style.
The production team includes notable names. Ahn Young-min and Rocoberry’s Roco participated in composition and arrangement. Top musicians like pianist Joseph K, guitarist Park Shin-won, bassist Lee Jae-sung, drummer Eun Joo-hyeon, and chorus vocalist Kang Tae-woo also joined.
The music video adds a retro touch with a 4:3 aspect ratio and vintage aesthetics. Influencer Moon Sang-hoon and singer-songwriter JUEUN appear in the video, portraying a stand-up comedian and his partner. The video beautifully captures their intersecting emotions.
